THE JANION WATERFRONT MICRO-LOFTS

Located at the edge of Oldtown, on Victoria’s urban waterfront, Reliance Properties Janion Waterfront Micro-Lofts offered some unique challenges. The Micro-Loft, a Reliance innovation, offers “small spaces for urban places”. While the concept of small-space living may be familiar in other parts of the world, it was a new idea for Victoria. A starting price of $110,000 attracted immediate attention, but convincing potential buyers that a desirable home could be built in as little as 260 sq. ft. remained a challenge. Showcasing the premium waterfront location, the first-class fixtures, finishes and amenities and the innovative, space-saving design features became the focus of our marketing and communications efforts. The result was spectacular. An overnight line up and over 80% of the homes sold by the end of opening day – a record for the City of Victoria and great result for our client Reliance Properties.
